How to Play

Football IQ Games is a free daily puzzle hub with 10 football-themed games. A new set of puzzles resets every day at midnight UTC. No signup required — your progress is stored locally on your device.

Guess the mystery footballer in up to 8 attempts. Each guess reveals attributes (nationality, position, league, club, age, shirt number) as green (correct), amber (close), or grey (wrong). Arrows show whether the target's number is higher or lower.

You have 60 seconds to name as many valid answers as possible to a football category. Type freely — spelling is forgiven. Score is based on how many you found.

One clue at a time reveals information about a mystery player. Guess correctly after the first clue for maximum points. Each new clue reduces your potential score. You can also request new clues voluntarily.

You're shown a player's career club path with colour-coded club names. Guess the player in up to 5 attempts. Difficulty (Easy/Medium/Hard) affects how common the player is.

Two players are compared on a stat (goals, assists, trophies). Decide if the second player's stat is higher or lower. Chain correct answers to build your score. One wrong answer ends the game.

Name all 10 items in a ranked football list (e.g. 'Top 10 Liverpool scorers'). Type freely — spelling forgiven. Reveal remaining at any time to end the game.

A 3×3 grid with clubs or nations on the axes. Each cell needs a player who matches both row and column criteria. Rarer picks score more points. You have 9 total picks.

16 football items must be grouped into 4 hidden categories of 4. Select 4 items and submit. 4 mistakes and the game ends. Colour difficulty: Yellow (easiest) → Purple (hardest).

5 players are shown, 4 of whom played for a specific club. Find the one who NEVER played there. You have 3 attempts before it's game over.

A starting XI is revealed one player at a time. Guess the club or national team as early as possible — the earlier you guess, the higher your score. You have 5 attempts.
